    It is distressing to me that after buying it it comes in the mail without explanation of how and when to use it

    There should be instructions included, further explanation of usage. I am reluctant to use it!!!!!!

    Hi Abbie: we do have this information on the bottle and the website. The standard dose is one teaspoon per day in water, but you can take 400-600 gm if you are deficient / according your personal needs. Sorry for the confusion: "Each 5 gram (1 teaspoon) serving provides 300 mg"= 80% of RDA
