Magnesium is an important mineral for sleep, stress, hormone balance and detoxification. Due to declining soil and food quality, most of us do not get enough magnesium and are deficient.
Magnesium bisglycinate chelate is one of the best absorbed forms of magnesium. Each 5 gram (1 teaspoon) serving provides 300 mg of elemental magnesium in a great-tasting, orange flavored product. This product should not cause any of the unfavorable gastrointestinal symptoms associated with magnesium supplementation due to the very stable chelate formed between two glycine molecules and each magnesium ion via a patented process.
Magnesium helps in preventing headaches, menstrual cramps and more.
From Bridgit: Why I Love Chelated Magnesium
"I have tried many brands and types of magnesium and this powdered, chelated form is the most effective. This powder absorbs so well that it can quickly calm cramps and frayed nerves. Take for acute headaches, chronic leg cramps, and improved sleep too! The RDA is 320 mg but I usually take 400 mg/ day and up to 600 mg/ day can be taken in acute cases.”

It is distressing to me that after buying it it comes in the mail without explanation of how and when to use it

There should be instructions included, further explanation of usage. I am reluctant to use it!!!!!!
Hi Abbie: we do have this information on the bottle and the website. The standard dose is one teaspoon per day in water, but you can take 400-600 gm if you are deficient / according your personal needs. Sorry for the confusion: "Each 5 gram (1 teaspoon) serving provides 300 mg"= 80% of RDA
